Neally all Smartphone's use data to access things like emails, or to request smartphone update's, so if you do not turn off your your mobile data on your smartphone, then your smartphone will eat in to the money you have topped up with, or will eat in to the money you have through your contract, and your bills could be shy high.
I get 500mb worth of data each month, but i did not know? that after this had run out, it would cost me £1.00 pound per day to get my emails. This is something that the current service providers do not tell you. I even did not sometimes press any buttons to get my emails on my Smartphone, but my money that i had topped up on my mobile phone just kept disappearing.
So i am posting this to you all as a tip, please when you know? that your data plan is about to run out turn off your cellular data off
All you have to do is turn the button to off, then when you get your data plan back just turn it back on. This will not effect your smartphone in Wi-Fi mode.
